Chief  Mike Ikenna, Ahamba (SAN) In this interview with COLLINS OSUJI in Owerri, a lawyer and former chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Owerri branch, Chief Mike Ahamba (SAN) spoke on various issues such as politics, security, judicial system and governance in the country and asserted that the 1999 Constitution provides for alteration but not amendment.    Chief  Mike Ikenna, Ahamba (SAN) was born  in Imo State to a royal Mbaise family. He obtained his West African School Certificate (WASC) from Ngwa High School Aba in 1964. Ahamba studied law at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus for his LL.B (HONS) and graduated in 1973. Emeka Ihedioha CON, has inaugurated the State Boundary Commission, with a charge to set the right standards for peace and security in the state. Tribunal reserves judgment in Atiku’s petition against Buhari’s election August 21, 2019 Election petition tribunal The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday reserved judgment in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar against the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the 2019 presidential election. The five-member panel of the tribunal led by Mohammed Garba reserved judgement on Wednesday after the petitioners and respondents adopted their final written addresses. The respondents are the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mr Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC). Mr Garba said the judgement would be delivered on a date to be communicated to the parties.
